Refund and Cancellation Policy
When Outranked.me refunds a payment, and exactly what a refund does to your ranking position.

Pre-launch review required
This document is an operator-ready draft that accurately describes how this system behaves. Passages in square brackets are placeholders for the operating entity’s details and must be completed and reviewed by a qualified lawyer before launch.
1. The rule that matters most
A refund removes the position that money bought. The refunded amount is subtracted from your verified spend, and the leaderboard recalculates immediately.
This is not negotiable and it applies to every account without exception. The alternative would let somebody buy the top position, hold it through a launch, then charge back and keep it.
2. What is refundable
We will refund a payment where:
- We removed your listing for a reason that was not your fault.
- A technical fault on our side caused a payment to be taken incorrectly, or taken twice.
- You were charged an amount that does not match what the checkout stated.
- Applicable consumer law in your jurisdiction gives you a right to a refund.
3. What is not automatically refundable
Because a position takes effect immediately and is visible to everybody the moment it is paid for, the service is delivered instantly and in full.
We do not refund because a competitor later outbid you: being outbid is the mechanic you paid to participate in.
We do not refund because a position did not produce the traffic, leads or sales you hoped for. Payment buys a position, and that is explicitly all it buys.
4. Self-serve refunds
Self-serve refunds are not enabled on this deployment. Refund requests are reviewed by a human.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@outranked.me with your invoice number. We aim to respond within two business days.
Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method. The time to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer, typically five to ten business days.
Partial refunds are supported and reduce your verified spend proportionally.
6. Chargebacks
If you raise a chargeback, the disputed amount stops counting towards ranking as soon as we are notified, exactly as a refund would.
We would much rather you contacted us first: a chargeback costs both of us fees and takes considerably longer than a refund.
7. Record keeping
Every refund is recorded in an immutable ledger together with the position change it caused. Historical records are never rewritten or deleted.
