Reports
Every completed period with enough activity to say something true gets a report. The figures come from provider-verified payments and recorded position changes on this marketplace — not from a survey, an estimate or a model — and they are frozen at publication.
No reports published yet
A report is only published when a completed period carries at least 8 ranked listings and real movement. Publishing an empty report would be worse than publishing nothing.
Standing rules
What we will and will not publish
These rules are enforced by the generator, not by an editor remembering them.
- Only completed periods. A partial week is never reported on, because its numbers would change after publication.
- Only real thresholds. A period needs at least 8 ranked listings, 3 active markets and measurable spend. Below that, no report is published and the reason is logged.
- Frozen figures. Every number is stored with the report. Reports are never silently recomputed, so a citation stays correct.
- No projections. Nothing here is estimated, extrapolated or modelled. If we cannot measure it, we omit it rather than hedge it.
- No paid placement. A listing’s appearance in a report is a consequence of its measured activity. It cannot be bought, and advertising products cannot alter it.
No completed period has been measured yet.
Report sponsorship puts a labelled sponsor credit on an issue. As stated above, it cannot influence which listings a report covers or what it measures — those are decided by the data.
