Why you can check every claim
Rank is computed, never stored
There is no rank column anyone could edit. Position is derived from verified spend every time it is read, so there is no administrative override to ask for.
Every movement is on the record
0 position changes are published with the listing that caused each one. Nobody else shows you how the board got here.
Refunds unwind the rank
Refunded money stops counting and the board recalculates. Spend that was reversed cannot keep buying a position.

Is this Google ranking?
No. Outranked.me is its own public leaderboard. Paying moves your position here and nowhere else. It does not affect Google Search and we never claim it does.
How is position decided?
Your rank is one plus the number of listings whose time-weighted verified spend is above yours. No editorial control, no override.
What does verified mean?
The payment is confirmed with the payment provider before it counts, and ownership is proved with a DNS record or a file on your domain.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your position decays — spend is time-weighted, so a position is maintained rather than bought once. Every movement appears on the changes page.
What does it cost?
Entry starts at $5. Beyond that you decide: passing the listing above you costs whatever that position is currently worth, and the board shows you the number before you pay.
